What Here.Now.AI Was

Here.Now.AI was a weekly AI newsletter published from 2023 to 2026, reaching more than 20,000 subscribers worldwide. Founded by Justin Simpson and Lori Butterfield, the publication helped non-technical professionals make sense of a rapidly evolving technology landscape, covering practical AI tools, product reviews, workflows, and the real-world applications that mattered most to working professionals.

Over three years and more than 130 editions, Here.Now.AI earned a reputation for clarity, substance, and a refusal to trade in hype. If you were a subscriber, thank you. The conversations that publication generated were among the most valuable experiences of our professional lives.

Where It Led

Building Here.Now.AI led somewhere neither of us entirely expected. The many conversations with subscribers, the deep immersion in AI tools and their practical limitations, and the discipline of publishing consistently to a demanding audience all pointed in the same direction: the most valuable thing we could do next was take what we had learned and apply it directly.

That realisation reshaped our professional focus. The publication was the foundation for the work we each do now, and we are grateful for every edition, every reader, and every question that pushed our thinking forward.
